1. LEGAL INTRODUCTION AND BINDING AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Clifbook (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), governing your access to and use of the Clifbook platform, including all services, tools, applications, content, and features.

By accessing, registering, or using Clifbook in any manner, you explicitly acknowledge, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

Clifbook is a fully registered business entity under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and all operations, policies, and enforcement actions are governed accordingly.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND USER REQUIREMENTS

To access or use Clifbook, you must:

- Be at least 13 years of age or meet the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction

- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information

- Not have been previously banned, suspended, or restricted

Clifbook reserves the absolute right to:

- Verify identity at any time

- Request additional documentation

- Deny access without obligation to provide reasons

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

Users are required to create an account to access core features. By doing so, you agree that:

- You are solely responsible for maintaining account confidentiality

- All activities under your account are legally attributed to you

- You must notify Clifbook immediately of any unauthorized access

Clifbook shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to secure your account.

5. ACCOUNT VERIFICATION (BADGE SYSTEM)

Clifbook may provide a verification badge system to identify authentic users.

- Verification is not guaranteed

- Clifbook retains full discretion to approve or deny requests

- Verification may be revoked at any time without notice

Verification does not grant ownership rights, financial privileges, or legal authority.

6. USER CONTENT AND LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY

Users may upload content including videos, images, text, and live streams.

By uploading content, you confirm that:

- You own the rights or have proper authorization

- Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

⚖️ STRICT LIABILITY CLAUSE:

All content is 100% the responsibility of the publisher.

Clifbook acts solely as a platform and shall not be held liable for user-generated content.

Prohibited Content Includes:

- Illegal or criminal material

- Copyright infringement

- Hate speech or harassment

- Fraudulent or misleading content

Clifbook reserves the absolute right to remove content without notice.

7. MONETIZATION POLICY (CREATOR EARNINGS)

Clifbook enables users to earn from content through a structured monetization system.

CPM STRUCTURE:

- MONETIZED Creators earn from views (CPM Rate)

Important Legal Conditions:

- Earnings are subject to platform verification and validation systems

- Artificial engagement (bots, fake views) is strictly prohibited

- Clifbook reserves the right to:

  - Adjust CPM rates at any time

  - Withhold or reverse earnings

  - Conduct audits on user activity

⚠️ NO GUARANTEE CLAUSE:

Clifbook does not guarantee income, revenue stability, or financial outcomes.

8. REFERRAL AND REWARD SYSTEM

Users may earn through:

- Referrals

- Invitations

- Platform participation

Any attempt to manipulate or exploit the referral system will result in:

- Immediate suspension

- Permanent ban

- Forfeiture of all earnings

9. MARKETPLACE AND TRANSACTIONS

Clifbook operates as a digital marketplace where users can:

- Buy and sell physical products

- Buy and sell digital products

Role of Clifbook:

Clifbook acts as a neutral intermediary (escrow-like system).

10. PAYMENT PROCESSING

All payments are processed via secure third-party providers, including:

- Flutterwave

Clifbook does not store sensitive financial data directly and relies on third-party security systems.

11. REFUND AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY

⚖️ THIS SECTION IS LEGALLY ENFORCEABLE AND CRITICAL

NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES:

Clifbook does NOT provide refunds for:

- Platform upgrades

- Premium features

- Monetization-related services

- Any Clifbook-owned services

11.1 REFUND ELIGIBILITY (MARKETPLACE ONLY)

Refunds apply ONLY to:

- Physical goods

- Third-party digital products

11.2 ESCROW HOLD SYSTEM (24 HOURS)

Upon purchase:

- Clifbook will securely hold funds for 24 hours

- This period acts as a buyer protection window

During the 24-Hour Window:

Buyers may:

- Inspect the product

- File a complaint

- Request a refund

11.3 DISPUTE PROCESS

If a complaint is filed within 24 hours:

1. Clifbook initiates an investigation

2. Seller is notified

3. Evidence is reviewed

If the complaint is valid:

- Funds are refunded to the buyer

- Seller forfeits the transaction

- Product must be returned where applicable

11.4 FINALITY CLAUSE

If NO complaint is submitted within 24 hours:

- The transaction is deemed fully completed and accepted

- Funds are automatically released to the seller

- The buyer waives all rights to dispute or refund

⚠️ This clause is final, binding, and irreversible.

12. FUNDRAISING AND FINANCIAL ACTIVITIES

Users may:

- Raise funds

- Accept donations

- Run campaigns

Users are solely responsible for:

- Legitimacy of fundraising

- Compliance with applicable laws

Clifbook shall not be liable for misuse of funds.

13. DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY

Clifbook collects:

- Names

- Locations

- Contact details

- Behavioral data

Purpose includes:

- Platform improvement

- Security monitoring

- Personalization

By using Clifbook, you consent to data collection and processing.

14. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FEATURES

Clifbook includes AI-powered tools for:

- Image generation

- Content writing

- Post creation

Users are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content complies with laws.

15. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users must NOT:

- Engage in fraud

- Manipulate views or earnings

- Harass others

- Upload illegal content

- Attempt system breaches

Violations may result in:

- Permanent ban

- Legal prosecution

16. PLATFORM ENFORCEMENT RIGHTS

Clifbook reserves the full and unconditional right to:

- Delete content

- Restrict accounts

- Suspend or ban users

- Freeze earnings

These actions may occur without prior notice.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Clifbook shall not be liable for:

- Financial losses

- User disputes

- Third-party service failures

- Content damages

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

18. TERMINATION

Clifbook may terminate accounts for:

- Policy violations

- Fraud

- Suspicious activity

Users may also terminate their accounts voluntarily.

19. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

Clifbook reserves the right to:

- Update Terms at any time

- Enforce new rules immediately

Continued use constitutes acceptance.

20. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
