The Village Network Experience
Last weekend, I traveled to the village to “relax.”
Nobody told me relaxation also means no network.
I raised my phone to the sky like I was making a serious prayer request.
Suddenly… one bar appeared.
I froze.
Nobody should move. Nobody should breathe.
This is a delicate moment.
My uncle saw me and asked,
“Are you worshipping?”
I said, “No sir. I’m trying to download two WhatsApp messages.”
In that village, getting signal is a group activity.
One boy climbed a mango tree and started shouting,
“Who wants to send a message? I have two bars up here!”
Even the goats were looking at us like,
“These city people are not serious.”
After two days, I came back to town.
Now when my network is slow, I don’t complain.
At least here, I can suffer comfortably.
